Earlier this month we had had the privilege of working on a styled photo shoot with a team of local wedding professionals. We had wanted to do our own full shoot for a while, but getting the right people on board (and finding a time when we would all be free!) was never going to be an easy task! Organising a shoot at the end of the summer season also proved especially hard with people either away on holiday during the summer, or super busy with weddings!

We pretty much abandoned the idea of a September shoot on at least two occasions! However, things finally came together, suppliers recommended other suppliers, and we were soon good to go! We’re so pleased we persevered as we had an amazing day at a gorgeous venue. Everything came together beautifully and it was a really enjoyable and creative day for us all!

Court Lodge was the perfect location for our shoot, and as we have worked at Court Lodge previously we knew it really well. We wanted the shoot themes to be bold, bright and cohesive, but also to compliment the country garden surroundings. Our ideas were shared with the team, whilst also acknowledging that every supplier would bring their own ideas, creativity and expertise to the day.

We cannot recommend everyone involved highly enough, and we’re already planning a few more shoots in the not too distant future.
