Rowhill Grange Hotel in Kent was the venue for the July 2016 wedding of Rachel and Matthew. It was a lovely wedding at one of our favourite wedding venues!

The Wedding Ceremony

We arrived at Rowhill Grange Hotel & Spa where Rachel and Matt had both stayed the previous night.

The wedding ceremony was to be held on the top lawn in the gazebo, and this was followed by canapés on the lower lawn. The wedding breakfast and evening celebrations were held in the Clockhouse. This is a spacious room which has great natural light…

After some informal shots of Matt, his groomsmen and guest arrivals, we went to Rachel’s room to photograph the last of the bridal preparations.

The wedding ceremony was a very special occasion which we captured in an unobtrusive documentary style. The gazebo was beautifully decorated with organza and plenty of flowers, including hydrangea displays by Chic Weddings.

The Wedding Breakfast

After the wedding ceremony, we photographed the serving of canapés and took the formal group shots on the lower lawn. During this time music was provided by the West End Jazz Band which created a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

After this the wedding party retired to the Clockhouse for their wedding breakfast. We photographed the receiving line prior to the entrance of the bride and groom.

Once the wedding breakfast and speeches were finished, we spent some time with Rachel and Matt taking a few relaxed portrait photographs of them on their own. Some our favourite photos are of Rachel throwing her bouquet from the balcony of the Clockhouse, and images of the cake cutting and first dance.
