We recently went to the beautiful Court Lodge Estate for a family photo shoot with Fay and her husband and son at Lamberhurst in Kent.
Fay was the lucky winner of our prize of a family photo shoot which we gave in support of The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre. The Pickering Drop-In Centre held an Afternoon Tea Fundraising Event at Court Lodge in September 2016. We photographed this lovely event too. More about the event can be found here on The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre’s blog.
Court Lodge Estate
Court Lodge is a Grade II listed Georgian Manor house that has been occupied by the Morland family since 1733. The current owners, Heather and Ian, are the seventh generation of the Morland family to own it.
The surrounding grounds cover approximately six acres in area, including a rose garden and a walled garden. Lamberhurst golf club lies to the front of the estate grounds. It was originally laid out by the Morland family as their own private golf course in the 1890s!
The Photo Shoot
We met with Fay, her husband and son at Court Lodge Estate on a lovely Autumn afternoon for the photo shoot. Although the wind had picked up prior to the photo shoot, the sun was still shining! We had a wonderful time photographing the family in the beautiful grounds.
Here are some of our images from the Court Lodge Estate family photo shoot:
Fay has recently provided us with a wonderful review on our Facebook page following the photo shoot. Here is her review:
I can thoroughly recommend Tony and Carol (Oakhouse Photography). We spent a lovely afternoon with them photographing us – they made us feel completely relaxed and my husband even said he “quite enjoyed” himself (he hates having his photo taken!) The hardest part was trying to choose from all the fantastic pictures – thank you so much, you have captured some beautiful treasured memories.
