In early Spring 2022, I had the privilege of capturing Annmarie and Daniel’s wedding at The Orchard, Maidstone, a breathtaking exclusive-use wedding venue located just outside Maidstone, Kent. With its picturesque setting and exceptional service, The Orchard provided the perfect location for Annmarie and Daniel to celebrate their love surrounded by friends and family.

Before heading to the venue, I met Annmarie and her bridal party at the Orida Hotel, Maidstone, where I captured the intimate moments of the bridal preparations. Once ready, I made my way to the venue to meet Daniel and his groomsmen.

Despite an overcast sky, the wedding ceremony took place outdoors on The Water Terrace at The Orchard Maidstone, creating a truly magical setting for Annmarie and Daniel to exchange vows. The terrace, adorned with twinkling fairy lights, added a touch of romance and warmth to the occasion. Daniel, in his distinguished military uniform, and Annmarie, in her gorgeous Georgia wedding dress from Wed2B, made a stunning couple. Their love and happiness were evident throughout the ceremony, which was filled with heartfelt moments and joy..

Wedding Reception: An Elegant Celebration at The Orchard

After the ceremony, we captured formal group shots in the venue’s stunning gardens before heading to the function room for the wedding reception. The atmosphere was lively, with Jim Oakley, a seasoned toastmaster from Toastmasters Kent, expertly guiding the flow of events. From speeches to the first dance, the reception was filled with laughter and celebration.

In addition to the portraits and wedding festivities, Annmarie and Daniel enjoyed some fun moments on the white inflatable castle provided for guest entertainment. It was a playful and memorable part of the day that added to the relaxed atmosphere of their wedding celebration.
