In early Spring 2022 I had the pleasure of photographing Annmarie & Daniel’s wedding at The Orchard Maidstone, Kent, an exclusive use wedding venue on the outskirts of Maidstone.
Before the wedding I met with Annmarie and her bridal party at the Orida Hotel Maidstone to photograph the bridal prep and portraits before heading off to The Orchard to meet up with Daniel and his wedding party.
Despite the overcast sky the wedding ceremony took place outside on The Water Terrace which was adorned with fairy lights, making this a magical area in which to exchange vows. Daniel, in his military uniform, and Annmarie, in her gorgeous Georgia wedding dress from Wed2B, were the perfect couple and radiated love and happiness throughout their special day.
Following the ceremony and some formal group shots, the reception was held in the function room of The Orchard with Jim Oakley, toastmaster at Toastmasters Kent, presiding over the running of the day. As well as the evening celebrations, we were able to capture some beautiful portraits. We also had fun capturing the happy couple on the white inflatable castle supplied for the guests entertainment!
