Today we’re looking back to a 2017 summer evening, when we were asked photograph a Salomon’s Estate Prom. We’d been contacted by the Weald of Kent Grammar School Prom Committee. We love prom photography and shooting at Salomon’s Estate is always a great experience! How could we refuse!

The Estate comprises of a stunning Victorian manor house set in 36 acres. There is an extensive garden, parkland and woodland. This was our first prom at Salomon’s having photographed mainly weddings there before.

Around 200 pupils and staff from Weald of Kent Grammar School were expected to attend that evening. The light was beautiful, and we were able to capture the guests arrival. Attendees were photographed socialising in their glamorous prom dresses and evening suits on the terrace. After the fun terrace shots, we continued with reportage photography inside.

The staff made us feel very welcome throughout the evening.

It was a lovely evening, and a pleasure to be part of the Weald of Kent’s 2017 Prom. We hope to be a part of their events in the future!
