For weeks 5 and 6 of our portrait photography project we decided to work very close to home. In fact we focussed on two businesses in Bexley Village, Kent.
Week 5 – Becky at The Holiday Inn
Firstly, we photographed Becky, the senior wedding and events co-ordinator at The Holiday Inn. We have known Becky for a number of years. Becky is always charming, friendly and professional. The staff there have always made us feel welcome too! We have photographed weddings and events at The Holiday Inn, and have more booked for the future!
We photographed Becky outside The Academy Conference Centre, and also in the grounds of the hotel.
Week 6 – Geraldine and Lida of Browns of Bexley
We met with Geraldine and Lisa at Browns of Bexley, for a portrait shoot for Week 6.
Browns is a family owned delicatessen in Bexley Village. Their concept is simple, they aim to supply customers with things which delight the senses and pallate. They stock items which cannot readily be sourced from a supermarket. Browns specialises in good cheeses, cured and cooked meats and artisan bread. Their chilli’s, relishes and cakes come highly recommended too!
We’d like to thank Geraldine and Lida for taking the time to have their photos taken. Thank you ladies for your hospitality too!Whilst this is a portrait project, we couldn’t resist a cake photo! Especially as it was one of Brown’s Victoria Sponges!
