St Mary’s Church (West Chiltington) and Long Furlong Barn were the settings for Siobhan & David’s spring wedding.
Siobhan & David live close to us in Bexleyheath and we were delighted that they asked us to photograph their wedding near Worthing, amongst the rolling hills of the Sussex Downs.
The wedding was a large occasion with many family and friends attending. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Norman Church of St Mary’s in West Chiltington. The bridal prep and wedding reception were held at Long Furlong Barn near Worthing.
We met up with Siobhan, her parents, bridesmaids, flower girl and pageboy at Long Furlong Barn to capture shots of them getting ready. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughs – and a few tears!Â
St Mary’s West Chiltington Wedding Ceremony
We then met up with David, his family, wedding party and friends at St Mary’s Church.
The ceremony was held in the wonderful village church. It truly was a beautiful occasion and included a performance from a children’s choir arranged by David.
We then took group shots in the churchyard and some portrait shots of Siobhan and David were taken inside the church too.
Long Furlong Barn Wedding Reception
When we arrived at Long Furlong Barn, the main group shot was photographed in the courtyard before speeches took place. Feasting tables were laid out for the guests which are a great idea for informal wedding breakfasts.
After the meal we took portraits of Siobhan and David and some fun shots in the red telephone box in the courtyard.
