It was a delight to photograph Caroline & Hugh’s Trafalgar Tavern wedding in Spring 2022.
The Trafalgar Tavern is located on the south bank of the River Thames, next to the Old Royal Naval College. Consequently, it is an area rich with maritime history and certainly one of London’s most historic wedding and reception locations!
The wedding ceremony was held in The Nelson Room, overlooking the River Thames.
Caroline wore a stylish Nigel Rayment Boutique dress and her bridesmaids wore sky blue dresses from David’s Bridal.
Their Trafalgar Tavern wedding ceremony was a wonderful occasion with a guitarist and singer also performing a song during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to join Caroline and Hugh in The Hawke & Howe Bar for drinks and canapés. Most importantly, this gave the staff time to prepare The Nelson Room for the wedding reception.
Once set up, group shots were taken in The Nelson Room prior to the reception, and we were able to include an entire group shot of the wedding party.
As guests were being seated, I took the opportunity to photograph Caroline and Hugh against the stunning backdrop of the River Thames and The O2 Arena .
The wedding reception was filled with joy and laughter. The toastmaster and best man even wore wigs and performed a special duet together for the bride and groom!
Evening entertainment was provided by the excellent Miracle Band.
Here are just a few Trafalgar Tavern wedding photos of Caroline And Hugh’s special day:
