As London Christening photographers, we recently had the pleasure of photographing baby Talulla’s Christening ceremony at the Roman Catholic Church of St Luke, Pinner, London. Talulla’s parents wanted us to document the occasion and to provide group shots to commemorate their special day. We then went to photograph their Christening celebration at Sandy Lodge Golf Club in Middlesex.

The Christening

Pinner is a very easy commute for us and we arrived at the church in plenty of time.

With its’ light coloured walls, the church is very beautiful and easy to shoot in. It has a stunning and vivid dark blue colour scheme around the altar, and is therefore renowned for being an unusual mix of contemporary and traditional architecture, inspired by early Christian basilicas. We were not permitted to photograph the Christening itself, but Talulla was an absolute star throughout the day. Nothing seemed to bother her, she really didn’t stop smiling!

After the ceremony, we took some time to photograph family and friends. We then moved outside to take some reportage images, as well as an entire group shot at the front of the church. From there we drove to Sandy Lodge Golf Club to photograph everyone celebrating Talulla’s very special day.
