Hall Place Bexley Spring Wedding | Natasha & Andy
A Romantic Spring Wedding at Hall Place & Gardens, Bexley
Hall Place in Bexley is always a spectacular setting, but there was an extra layer of excitement for Natasha and Andy’s early April wedding. This wasn’t just a celebration of their marriage, but the start of a whirlwind journey—literally! Immediately following their ceremony, the newlyweds were heading straight to the Eurostar to begin their honeymoon in Paris.
Style & Sophistication at Hall Place, Bexley
April weather in England is famously unpredictable, and we saw everything from bright spring sunshine to heavy rain. However, the historic charm of Hall Place provides a stunning backdrop regardless of the clouds.
Natasha arrived looking incredibly chic in a striking Jonathan Simkhai wedding dress. Before meeting the registrars, we captured some timeless bridal portraits that highlighted the modern elegance of her choice. Andy arrived shortly after with his best men, carrying the bridal bouquets and ready for a morning filled with joy.
Portraits Under the Magnolia Tree
One of the highlights of a Spring wedding at Hall Place is the flora. Natasha and Andy specifically requested a ‘first look’ and portraits together before the ceremony under the magnificent magnolia tree in front of the house. The soft pink blossoms against the historic stone architecture created a dreamlike setting for their couple photos.
An Intimate Ceremony with Global Reach
The ceremony took place in one of the intimate upstairs rooms overlooking the award-winning Hall Place Gardens. In a touching modern twist, since Natasha’s parents were unable to travel, the entire ceremony was broadcast live via FaceTime so they could witness every moment from afar.
Champagne Toasts & A Paris Honeymoon
After the “I dos,” we moved to the front grounds for family group portraits. The celebration was punctuated by Taittinger Champagne toasts before the couple made their getaway.
It’s not every day a couple leaves their wedding in Bexley and ends the day in France! We captured their final moments before they departed for Ebbsfleet to catch the train to Paris.
Photographer’s Tip: Hall Place is vast! If you are planning a “short ceremony” booking, picking one specific location for portraits – like the Magnolia trees or the Topiary garden – ensures you get high-quality shots without feeling rushed before your reception (or your train!).
