Tierney & Matthew’s wedding at Elmers Court Hotel, Lymington, Hampshire was a beautiful intimate affair with family and close friends.
Tierney had been referred to us for our elegant, documentary wedding photography style and we were delighted when she and Matthew chose us as their wedding photographers.
On the day we had a wonderful drive down through the New Forest to Elmers Court Hotel. There was plenty of sunshine, a welcome relief from the wind and rain of previous days! Elmer’s Court Hotel is a stunning, and very imposing, 17th century manor standing within 23 acres and overlooking the Solent.
We met with Matthew, his groomsmen and mother at the outside ceremony area to take some formal images. After this we met with Tierney, her bridesmaids and parents at one of the lodges on site for some formal and informal photographs prior to the wedding ceremony.
The open air wedding ceremony was held at the rear of Elmers Court with a beautiful view of The Solent providing a wonderful backdrop. It was a relaxed and informal occasion.
After the wedding ceremony, we photographed formal groups and bride and groom portraits in the gardens. Finally, a hotel resident kindly allowed us to use their room to capture a whole group shot.
Here are some images from their wedding day:
