As a Bexleyheath wedding photographer, there are few venues as iconic as Danson House. This Grade I listed Georgian villa, home to the Bexley Registry Office, provided the perfect sophisticated backdrop for Caroline and Luke’s intimate wedding ceremony in the heart of Danson Park, Bexleyheath.

The day began with the arrival of the groom. We met Luke on the sweeping steps of Danson House to capture some relaxed pre-wedding portraits and documentary-style shots of their guests arriving. The grand architecture of the house always adds a touch of timeless elegance to these first moments of the day.

Caroline made a truly unforgettable entrance. Looking effortlessly cool, she arrived in a stunning ice-blue Jaguar XJL wedding car provided by Luke’s own company, Three Kings Wedding Cars based in Sidcup. It was a beautiful personal touch that set the tone for their stylish celebration.

The Ceremony in The Dining Room

The couple chose the Dining Room at Danson House for their vows. With its signature cream walls, intricate gold detailing, and classic artwork, it is arguably one of the most beautiful registry rooms in Kent. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Caroline and Luke exchanged vows in an atmosphere that felt both grand and deeply personal.

Portraits in The English Garden

Following the ceremony, we made use of the stunning exterior for group photos before heading across to the English Garden opposite Danson House. This hidden gem within Danson Park offers a variety of textures and florals, making it an ideal spot for romantic couple portraits away from the main crowds.

A Marquee at Home

The celebrations didn’t end at the park. The party moved back to the couple’s home for an intimate evening reception in a beautifully styled garden marquee. Transitioning from the historic elegance of Bexleyheath to a relaxed home setting allowed the newlyweds to celebrate their marriage exactly how they wanted.
