Bromley Public Hall Wedding & Radisson Blu Reception | Lydia & Danh
Bromley Public Hall Wedding & Radisson Blu New Providence Wharf Reception of Lydia & Danh
Looking back at Lydia and Danh’s wedding feels like stepping into a perfectly curated “London through the Ages” tour. Back in the summer of 2019, we had the absolute pleasure of documenting their journey from the historic heart of the East End to the sleek, shimmering skyline of the Thames.
It was a day defined by two things: incredible contrast and wonderful people.
From Tudor Timbers to Modern Glass: Two Very Different Venues
One of the highlights of this wedding was the sheer architectural whiplash—in the best way possible. Lydia and Danh chose two venues that couldn’t be more different, yet somehow complemented their story perfectly.
The Wedding Ceremony: Bromley Public Hall
We kicked things off at Bromley Public Hall, a venue that oozes Tudor elegance. Dating back to the 15th century, it’s the kind of place where you can practically feel the weight of history in the oak beams and leaded windows. It provided a warm, intimate, and grounded atmosphere for the “I dos.”
The Reception: Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf
After the ceremony, we swapped history for high-end style. The Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel is a masterclass in modern London design. Flooded with natural light and featuring clean lines, it offered a crisp, sophisticated backdrop that stood in stunning opposition to the morning’s historical setting.
A Backdrop Like No Other
If you’re getting married on the river, you have to lean into the views, and Lydia and Danh did exactly that. The hotel’s vantage point over the River Thames is second to none.
The Light: Summer on the Thames offers a specific kind of glow that makes skin tones pop and champagne sparkle.
The Icon: We were able to use the O2 Arena as a primary backdrop. It’s not every day you get to frame a wedding portrait with one of the world’s most recognizable entertainment venues!
