We were delighted to be asked to photograph Kim and Andy’s Wedding at the beautiful Danson House located in Danson Park, Bexley, Kent.
Danson House is a Grade 1 Listed Palladium villa built in 1766 by Sir John Boyd, the vice-chairman of the British East India Company, as a retreat from London, with architecture by Sir Robert Taylor. Danson House is owned and under the management of Bexley Council.
Kim and Andy wanted a relaxed, fun wedding to reflect their style and taste in music. Kim planned and designed her own wedding dress. Her bridesmaids and her sons, who gave her away, dressed to join in with her a punk/Gothic style.
Andy, on the other hand, decided his best man and ushers would wear a 1960’s Rat Pack ensemble for the wedding.
To add to the occasion, Kim and Andy had Scam69, a punk/New Wave tribute band play music prior to entering the ceremony room and after the wedding ceremony itself.
The wedding was a wonderful occasion and certainly reflected their own unique, quirky and fun outlook. A great time was had by everyone.
