In our opinion Falconhurst weddings provide an amazing experience for any couple, with gorgeous gardens, extensive views towards the Ashdown Forest and a beautiful local country church. Not to mention attentive hosts, Nicola and Charles, who will guide you towards your special day.
The lower lawn at Falconhurst is ideal for placing all kinds of marquees. Whether it is a bohemian yurt, a vintage traditional canvas or a modern frame tent… there’s plenty of space to accommodate everyone! There’s also plenty of room for the group photos too! The gardens, including a beautiful walled garden, contain billowing borders, pergolas awash with roses and generous wide gravel paths, perfect for an English country garden wedding!
The 700 acre country estate is in a designated area of ‘outstanding natural beauty’ deep in the ‘Weald’ on the Kent/Sussex/Surrey border, yet only 45 minutes from central London. The pretty local church in Markbeech is a short walk away and can be reached either by car, walking through the woods along the ‘Church Walk’, or across Church Field enjoying distant views towards Ashdown Forest.  The church holds 120 people, more if some are children, or standing.
There are also Registry Offices only 20 minutes away in either Tunbridge Wells or Crowborough. It is always a pleasure to visit Falconhurst, and we love shooting weddings there.
