This summer Becca and James tie the knot at their wedding in Kent. We are really looking forward to being their wedding photographers and photographing their wedding day, especially as it will be at one of our favourite wedding venues – Falconhurst near Edenbridge.
Last month we met with Becca and James at Prior Park Landscape Garden in Bath for their pre-wedding photo shoot.
One of only four uniquely designed and beautiful Palladian bridges in the world can be crossed at Prior Park, which was created in the 18th century by local entrepreneur Ralph Allen, with advice from ‘Capability’ Brown and the poet Alexander Pope. Prior Park now owned by the National Trust and is Grade I listed in the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of special interest in England.
The garden itself is set in a sweeping valley where visitors can also enjoy magnificent views of Bath.
We were initially very concerned about the weather for our shoot. It had been very changeable and it had rained all morning in nearby Cardiff, so we were really pleased to arrive in Bath and see blue skies and plenty of sunshine!
As we discussed with Becca and James, we really believe a pre-wedding photo shoot is the perfect way for brides and grooms to get to know their wedding photographer as it helps to put them at ease for their wedding day. We had great fun on the day and found some lovely locations to shoot from in the park!
