Who are we?
Hi, we’re Tony and Carol and we’re passionate about Oakhouse Photography. We love working on location in natural light and even love the challenges the British weather throws at us!
We live in Kent with our two children. Our relationship was cemented over a shared love of Häagen-Dazs ice-cream and we married two years later at The Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone. Our winter wedding was perfect, other than our vintage wedding car breaking down in Maidstone’s one-way system! We were 45 minutes late getting to the blessing and arrived in a taxi!
We are often complimented on how professional yet easy going and fun to work with we are. We mainly shoot weddings in Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Dorset and Hampshire.
Tony is the principal photographer and Carol assists. Tony has trained with Nikon ambassador Kate Hopewell-Smith, Andrew Appleton of The Guild of Photographers, and Terry Hewlett of The Royal Photographic Society.
We’re experienced professionals and Tony is an award winning member of The Guild of Photographers. We hold full equipment, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. We use professional Nikon camera bodies and have back-ups available for all shoots.
Our images have been featured on the BBC and in the press by Peggy Porschen, Forbes Luxury Travel Guide, Kent Life, Your Kent Wedding Magazine and Daphne’s Diary.
