II’m Tony, the photographer behind Oakhouse Photography, based in Bexley, Kent. My approach to wedding photography centres on what I’d describe as relaxed elegance — natural, refined imagery without anything feeling staged or uncomfortable.
Your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot; it’s a celebration. I won’t pull you away from your guests for long periods or ask you to hold awkward poses. Instead, I work in a documentary-led style, allowing the day to unfold naturally while I capture it with care and intention. From the quiet, slightly surreal moments during morning preparations to the full energy of the dance floor, I’m there to document it honestly.
The result is a timeless gallery that feels like you — genuine, emotive and beautifully understated. No forced smiles, just authentic moments captured thoughtfully.
Why I Love What I Do
For me, photography is about far more than equipment or technique. It’s about people and connection.
I genuinely love the atmosphere of a wedding day — the nervous excitement, the private glances, the uncontrollable laughter with your closest friends and a packed dance floor. Every couple brings their own personality and energy, and that’s what makes each wedding unique.
The most powerful photographs aren’t simply seen; they’re felt. My aim is that, ten years from now, you’ll look back at your images and be transported straight back to how it felt in that exact moment.

When I’m not photographing weddings, I love shooting street photography, you can see some of my street photography work here.
I’m a passionate supporter of Swansea City Football Club and also, love spending my free time at the cinema, theatre, concerts, or travelling with my family.
Here are a few of my favourite things…
- Tea or Coffee: Coffee – preferably with a slice of cake!
- Favourite Movie: Field of Dreams
- Favourite Theatre Performance: Paddington The Musical (just seen – it is fabulous!); also, loved Back To The Future & Chicago
- Best Concert: Queen at Knebworth on 9th August 1986 “The Magic Tour”. This was Freddie Mercury & Queens final concert. It was amazing to be a part of the 120,000 attendees who saw their final show.
- Favourite Holiday Location: French Alps, specifically Lake Annecy and surrounding areas.
