The Summer and Autumn wedding season was especially busy for us last year, but we’re back and raring to go to complete our 52 Portraits project. Our latest subject is Laetitia Rix, of Makeup Angel. We have worked with Laetitia on a couple of recent photo shoots, and were thrilled when she asked us to take her photo! Sometimes people need a little gentle persuasion!
About Makeup Angel
Laetitia’s passion for makeup started in her early teens, with all her friends and family enduring endless makeovers! After art school she attended The London School of Make-up. Fashion journalist Caryn Franklyn selected Laetitia for her first published work in ID Magazine. Laetitia’s career has since included magazine editorials, advertising, record companies, TV and bridal.
Her role as Training Manager for cosmetics brand Shu Uemura led to working on catwalk shows during London and Paris Fashion Weeks and The Clothes Show Live. Laetitia’s TV work has included Dancing on Ice and Fame Academy. Celebrity clients include models Alek Wek and Caprice, presenters Andrea McClean, Kirsty Young and Andi Peters, Dame Kelly Holmes, Danni Minogue, Sadie Frost, Ruthie Henshall, Jason Donovan, Adam Ant and Duncan James (Blue) to name but a few!
After relocating from London to Tunbridge Wells with her young family, Laetitia is now focusing on her bridal work.
Laetitia was a great subject for our photo shoot. We look forward to working with her in the future. You can read Laetitia’s guide to wedding makeup trials here.
