Portrait Photography Project 2017:
We all need a challenge and this year is no exception! Usually you will mostly find us photographing weddings or family photo shoots. However, we have also decided to embark on a portrait photography project comprising 52 business portraits in 52 weeks.
Why A Photography Project?
It is always important to set yourself goals. Whatever your profession or hobby, you want to endeavour to be the best that you can be. This doesn’t necessarily mean you are or will be the best, but you have tried to accomplish the goals that you have set.
What Are The Aims Of The Portrait Photography Project 2017?
This year, we decided our goal is create a portrait portfolio of business owners, small and large, within the Kent and London areas. We wanted to create the portfolio in our own style. We want to show a portrait of our subject but also, the work and crafts that they do. Throughout this project we intend to have some fun with our subjects! We hope this comes across in our images.
It is also interesting for us to see if our style will change as we go through the year.
Week 1 : Lisa Shuttleworth, Gorgeous Floral Design, Bexley, Kent
Lisa is the owner of florists, Gorgeous Floral Design, based in Bexley, Kent. She is an established wedding and special occasions florist who works from home. We have worked with Lisa on a number of occasions and she has great style. She goes out of her way for clients to ensure they have perfect flowers for their wedding, event or occasion.
The following set of images were taken in her workshop area and garden.
